Hoookay. I'm going out on a limb here and post some fanfiction. Fiction was never my forte, and fanfiction in particular kills me because I don't know if I can do much better than all the drivel out there. But lately I've returned to a little-known, underloved live-action TV drama called Joan of Arcadia ... and if it were not enough, I've written what could possibly cost me my religion, and a few friends. XD;;; (I am SO happy I resisted the urge to post fanart... X_x)

In any case, I hope someone will like this. Enjoy. ♥

Disclaimers: If I owned "Joan of Arcadia," Adam would not have had sex with Bonnie, the whole Ryan Hunter arc would not have existed (I personally found it too haphazardly written), and Kris Lemche's CuteBoy!God character would've appeared in the last episode along with all the other incarnations. But alas, it is owned by Ms. Barbara Hall and her production outfit, as well as CBS Television. This piece was written originally for smallfandomfest, and has been cross-posted to ships50.

WARNING: If the idea of romantic tension between a Deity (especially one based on a well-known, conservative religion) and a mortal offends you, PLEASE DO NOT READ THIS. I cannot stress this enough. Thank you.

Givebacks! :3

Hi all. I'm sure you've been directed here from either my mp3_share request or my wedontsendit request.

Thanks for volunteering for the help!

The givebacks haven't been uploaded on Sendspace yet. But I'll get around to that... I hope. XD; Some givebacks are now on Sendspace. Enjoy! v^_^v

Givebacks under the cut!Collapse )

Of course, if you just want to DL anyway feel free to do so, but I really would appreciate an exchange. X3 All files are in Zips BTW.

ViVi scans available!

Hi again all! My love for Japanese magazines have been rekindled like never before, so I've begun buying magazines and hunting for them. If you'll scroll down a few posts earlier, you'll find I have a fairly old magazine, So-en Eye (it's as old as my older sister, who was born in 1979! 8D). My newest purchase is the December 2007 issue of ViVi, which I am pleased to share with all the members of this community. ♥

I'd like to note, though, that I DID NOT SCAN THESE MYSELF; I just don't have the heart, or the courage, to dismantle my magazine just to share it with the rest of the world. XD; Nope, you all will have to thank superdustbunny at jmagazinescans for that, as reference in this post. v^_^v

I have the entire magazine (sans some ads) on 3 parts on Mediafire here, please take a look! v^_^v I promise it'll be worth your while. ;3 Keep the links up if you like the mags by distributing them everywhere, and please let me know if you want more Japanese mags, so I may finally get the courage to scan what I have (namely some JJ, Junie, Kera and Seda) here at home. d^_~b

[PLUG] Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!

The talented makeuplovegloss is running a promotions contest at her community sweetlikecandy! Just join the sweetlikecandy community, and once you're in please write down who invited you into the comm here (in that case, that would be either _ligaya_ or kaligayahan). v^_^v

Also, I've been a bit on a creative kick again, so expect more icons from me soon! /^o^/

Chiyogami Goodies!

Hi everyone!

I'm sorry I've been neglectful of this little comm (again! XP). I haven't been doing much iconage or music stuff lately, no thanks to work. ;~;

However, I return to you with some materials which are guaranteed to help you in your graphics-making and graphics-colouring, especially for those who are keen in making banners, headers, wallpapers and other larger graphics. v^_~v

A friend of mine now based in the US sent me a stack of chiyogami, or the special stationery paper for use exclusively in origami, the Japanese art of paper-folding. I have scanned all eight patterns for you to enjoy. ^.^

For this series, PLEASE CREDIT EITHER _ligaya_ or kaligayahan. I haven't seen anyone post their chiyogami in full size recently so meh. X3

Chiyogami they way they came out from the scanner - fadedCollapse )

Chiyogami the way they originally look - vibrantCollapse )
This post is contains some pages of my mum's surviving 1970s-era fashion-cum-patterns magazine from Japan. According to someone over at either egl, tokyoagogo or fruits (I'm not sure which one, I've forgotten already 6^_^000), the title is So-En Eye. But, because my sisters and I tore off the cover - besides tearing off other pages and ruining a good deal of the other pages with ballpoint ink, as you'll see from the first page - while we were still very, very young, we'll never know. v=_=000 I'm actually amazed this magazine survived though; my mum has always told us that she used to have a huge pile somewhere, but then we began to move around a great deal. It's really sad that this is the only magazine I found rummaging through my mum's belongings when we moved more than 3 years ago.

I hope you enjoy it all the same! And, uh, I'm terribly sorry for the delay - they've been scanned in since mid-2006 (and some since 2004!), but ... between being busy and getting sick, I also got lazy. XD;

Not all scans are in yet, but here's what I have so far!Collapse )
